Workstream 5: Organizational Clarity, Wellness, Sustainability and Development
No organisation can effectively address the needs of constituency unless it stays financed, grounded, stable, politically clear and networked for change. This workstream acknowledges that SOGIESC focused, LBTI-led activism is not the same as heteronormative, cis women’s, feminist organising. It also recognises the contextual realities of operating in Fiji. There is contextual trauma, stress, danger and security concerns for south LBTQ+ feminist activists and organisation, and therefore our work for balance, wellbeing, adequate finance and sustainability is foregrounded as a major workstream.
