YOUNG PEOPLE IN FIJI’S WORK FOR GENDER, SOGIESC AND SEXUAL AND REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE: ‘MY BODY, MY HUMAN RIGHTS, MY ACTIVISM ON SRHR IN FIJI’

 

Last December a special new booklet that has been developed, written & shared by young #Fiji #SRHR & #SOGIESC activists of all genders, with the support of DIVA for Equality FIJI was released at a major advocacy event in Suva, Fiji during 16 Days of Activism Campaign (25 Nov-10 Dec).

 

The booklet shares over 20 challenging, graphic and brave local struggles for safety, justice, human rights & freedom. It is offered with love and fierce determination by Fiji young activists. It should be read by everyone. Thanks to those who turned up at the launch and practically support this groundbreaking work by Pacific young activists over many years.

 

Congratulations to the authors for their contribution to regional and global literature on some of the most pressing sexual exploitation, rape and other gender based violence and more, and Pacific young-people grassroots-led responses!
