BEAUTY IN THE SHARED WORK, BEAUTY IN THE ECOLOGY
Updates from 2022 agro-ecological, food sovereignty & biodiversity protection projects accompanied and funded by @diva4equality, working with Women Defend Commons & LBTQ Hubs and networks.
The wonderful exchange between PRAN Lautoka and Vaturu village, is beginning, and it is laid by those with existing ties in these places. The knowledge and plants are part of ancient and new exchanges and they are essential for climate justice work, to get ready for the loss and damage to come, and being felt already in Fiji and other frontline States and societies. We are not waiting for others to tell us what to do, we are using what we know, what we have, to mobilise and organise in #WomenDefendCommons networks in Fiji and the Pacific. Groups in urban, rural and maritime communities are joining, and we are developing and transferring climate and agro-ecological technology. We are the experts. We test and try, and keep moving the work, over time.
